About Us
Mentoring Works is a division of Synergetic People Development Pty Ltd, headed by internationally recognised mentoring expert Ann Rolfe. Mentoring Works services include consulting with organisations to tailor specific mentoring programs, workshops on mentoring and an extensive offering of information products to support mentors and mentorees involved in mentoring programs. Introducing Ann Rolfe
Ann Rolfe has been the principle consultant of Synergetic People Development Pty Limited since its inception in 1987.
For over ten years, Ann Rolfe has helped organizations and individuals reap the benefits of mentoring. Widely respected as an author and presenter, her training programs have been used nationally and internationally to develop the skills of mentors and those who are mentored.
Ann Rolfe is the founder of the Mentoring Network, publisher of the Mentoring News and author of more books on mentoring than any other Australian author. Mentoring Works is a division of Synergetic People Development Pty Limited.

Our Track Record
In recent assignments we have:
- Identified organisational issues impacting on retention of highly valued professional staff by undertaking a needs analysis through interviews, focus groups and questionnaire. Produced a comprehensive report with detailed recommendations for increasing retention through practical and cost-effective staff support strategies.
- Consulted on planning, implementation and evaluation numerous mentoring and career development programs in large public sector organisations. These have resulted in increased communication and networking, better understanding of vision and values and greater career satisfaction for participants.
- Written Guidelines for Mentoring used in-house by several organisations. Books on mentoring, written by Ann Rolfe are used as resources by many large organizations, are recommended references for TAFE and university students in human resources courses and publicly available in bookshops. Developed workbooks on career development, time management, strategic thinking and planning, supervision and customer service.
- Established a network for people responsible for their organisation’s mentoring program. Facilitated meetings of the Mentoring Network in Sydney and publish a newsletter quarterly.
