InternationaL Mentoring Association – Australia & New Zealand Chapter

I have made a vow that next time I go to a conference, I’ll stay in my hotel room (or by the pool) for two days afterwards to review all the great material and ideas and follow-up all the people I met! It’s too easy to lose the value if you don’t capture and act on it quickly. Just as well I made a list that I am working though.

So, the first steps toward launching the Australian and New Zealand Chapter of the International Mentoring Association have begun. Dina Fyffe, of Griffith University and I teleconferenced this week and began a plan of action. Our planning horizon is 18-24 months for a major event and we will find various ways of connecting with all of you who are interested in the meantime.

So watch this space  – I mean that literally! Add your comments, suggestions and ideas for getting the ball rolling. Love to hear from you.

    Hi Ann

I can really relate to your comments with regards to all the material and ideas from conferences the thought of spending a couple of days by the pool absorbing it all appeals on several levels.
I would like to register my interest in the launching of a local chapter of the International Mentoring Association. We have been overwhelmed by the success of our program http://www.businessstartup.com.au and are in the process of spreading our geographic coverage based on the demand our Program has created.
If there is any way we can help facilitate your plan please let us know.
