The Mentoring Network
The Mentoring Network was founded in 1996 and provides an opportunity for people responsible for mentoring in their organisation to exchange ideas and learn from the experience of others who are using mentoring as a development strategy.
Objectives of the Mentoring Network
- To model the principles of mentoring and networking by sharing information and learning from one-another
- To provide a forum for discussion of ideas
- To establish a vehicle for Australian research and development of mentoring practices.
Members are program coordinators or staff responsible for planning, implementing or monitoring Mentoring Programs.
Meetings are held three times per year in Canberra and Sydney and include lunch, a presentation or workshop, discussion and networking.
