I don’t believe in new-year’s resolutions but it is a great time to reset and make changes.
My aim for this blog and all Mentoring Works activities is that you enjoy them, find them interesting, informative and useful, as well as a way to connect with people like yourself who are involved in mentoring.
That’s why I’ll be ramping up my activities this year to deliver more. Here’s how:
I love running webinars, but I’m in Australia and that may present a time zone problem for you if you’re somewhere else on the planet. So this year, I’m going to run each webinar twice, at different times to make it more convenient for you.
Participating in real time so you get to interact is best, but if you can’t the recording will still be available for 30 days after the live event. Look for your email invitation to our first webinar soon, or see the details and register right now.
I encourage you to invite others in your workplace to attend the webinars because this year we are addressing the broader context of mentoring which I wrote about in 21st Century Shifts in Workplace Mentoring and the new emphasis on Mentoring As An Essential Leadership Skill. You can download, read and share those articles here.
I’ll still be supporting you in developing and managing mentoring programs with both professional services and complimentary new material coming your way.
There will be more:
Complimentary videos – view the latest here
Tools, templates and samples to assist your mentoring strategy
Inspiration and articles from many sources on our Facebook page
Regular posts and Q&A on our LinkedIn company page
Copies of newsletter articles for you to download and share
What else is new?
Of interest to government agencies in NSW, I’ve achieved prequalification status in Performance and Management Services, so that will make it a lot easier for you to engage me!
I’ve almost completed the accreditation process with Gallup’s Strength Finder 2.0. I’ve been working with this fabulous instrument and materials in mentoring programs for the last 4 years and figured I’d make it official, before I offer leader and team coaching. If you’d like to know more let me know.
What would you like?
If you have a moment, drop me a feedback email. Tell me what you like and find useful from Mentoring Works, anything you don’t like, or would prefer to be different and, what are the hot topics you’d like me to address?
So, I’m back in the office recovering from my holiday! Visiting Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Cambodia taught me a lot about people, culture, history, geography and … myself!

Things get hectic next month, so now’s the time to call 02 43422610 (in Australia) or email ann@mentoring-works to set up a time to speak online.
